60th Anniversary Schwinn Paramount 56cm Lugged Steel - $1,000

60th Anniversary Schwinn Paramount Lugged Steel - $1,000

Super rare bike! If you love lugged steel frames, or if you are a Schwinn collector, or both, this is the bike for you. This is a rare, 1998 60th Anniversary Schwinn Paramount bike, built by match cycle in Woodinville, WA. Tim Isaac ran the place, and some very famous builders worked with him building these - Martin Tweedy, Curt Goodrich, Steve Hampsten, Mark Bulgier, Kirk Pacenti, and others. Based on the serial number of this frame, this was build in 1998, so it's a true 60th Anniversary frame!

Even better, this one comes with the original, matching Time Carbon Fiber fork - most folks opted for the matching lugged steel, even fewer went for the carbon fork.

Built out of Reynold's 853 steel, hand-lugged with custom lugs, and with Tim Isaac's trademark vertical dropouts. Original blue color.

Updated with some modern components to convert it to a 10speed, but still several period matching parts are still on the bike and in excellent condition!

Only about 1500 of these were ever built, between 1998 and 2001 (when Schwinn was sold). I've only seen about 8 up for sale in the last 6 years, only 2 of which were fully built bikes (and not just frames).
