30 years ago I helped the Longmont, CO police buy their first two bikes, and equip one patrol car with a bike rack. It was an experiment, but a successful one.
The 'logic' is a recognition that many police departments have ingrained-in and institutional racism..Hence, until there are large scale and permanent 'fixes, Fuji choose to not support LE departments..it really has nothing to do with a 'bike'....

Be like a paintball gun maker decides to not support a law enforcement agency since these are used to shoot pepper spray balls..
