I had this same conundrum recently, so I went with the Soma bars. I only just installed them so I'm still evaluating them.

The biggest change that I noticed in comparison to my previous Nitto bars (not the 106, I forget which model...) was the radius from the flat to the top of the drop, it's tighter on the Soma and will take me some getting used to, also the leverage on the Soma bars when out of the saddle for me is quicker/twitchier for obvious reasons of the geometry.
