i'm not into racing. 99% of my rides are solo. My current gearing is compact 50/34 up front and 11-28 in the rear. I'm generally in the 50 80% of the time so I've been thinking 1x is maybe worth a try. I'm riding in Rhode Island so elevation isnt really a thing here.
I'm thinking I'll run a 11-36 with a 48 for starters.
