Why? I do this all the time. On a country road with lots of ups and downs and hill crests there arent many safe places to pass, give as much help as you can.
Im guessing the poster is riding roads where there are no left turns
For the most part I've found drivers to be fairly nice--Ive had one person get close but not enough to really scare me. Ive had more people roll down the window to cheer me on than yell at me recently
