This is to be my post cancer bike so I want it to be special. I want one that will be comfy on 5 hour rides,not real stiff but not a noodle either. Maybe a longer ST than TT. I will discuss this with the builder I choose. A few I have in mind are clockwork,chapman and bluesteelfab plus a couple others on my shortlist.
I do about 5 or six charity rides a year that are 75 to 100+ miles. I ride my custom DeSalvo Ti on these rides now, It was built 10 years ago so age and flexibility are catching up to me.
I love the RS lug sets, not much needs to be done to them.
