I've messed around with bars more than anyone should over the past year so you're in luck...
Nitto M106/151 are my favorite drop bars currently. The regular 151 model is a 26.0 stem and Neat M106 SSB are a 31.8 stem. If I remember those model numbers correctly. Both have the same shape and are measured at the hooks with maybe a few slight degrees of flare. So marked size 40cm is 40cm at the hooks and about 39cm at the ramps. Nice flat ramps, and comfortable in the drops. I dislike old skool bars with deep drop, long reach, and sloping ramps.
Currently I have the M106 on a modernish road bike (modern Shimano brifters, threadless stem), M151 on a neoretro road (quill stem, modern brifters), and noodles on my commuter bike (tall quill stem to get the bars up, aero levers). I like the 106/151s more than the Noodles for what it's worth.
