The section in that article about the geometry being guided by the availability and "limitations of the components from that era" (forks, esp.) and the limited length of seatposts back then remind me of how much we so easily take for granted these days.

And, "After the first ten frames, Breezer went away from this twin lateral design. He stated it was mainly because it saved him from having to do eleven extra welds." is just great.
