Too bad these are not more resilient for commuting.
I have about 400 miles on my 26mm Gravelkings, and I can report that they look good--herringbone pattern (or whatever) is still very visible. I've had not flats or cuts. All my miles are training, on decent roads, in daylight.
Better luck with your next commuting set of tires.
