Sorry pals, the shifters had to stay where they are. My hands feel most natural and relaxed at this position, it delivers maximum comfort and optimal wattage, and besides it's not as extreme as some of you made it out to be. For the newer Shimano shifters, it's about right.
Anyway, it's my bika, I do what I want, case closed.

R3 pal, you are on to something. My first choice would be a silver post as well but the Colnago uses a rare 28.0 diameter. So it's either i use the nice carbon 28.0 post that Rob pal sent me along with the bike or I go source for a 27.2 shim. For the sake of time, I chose the former.
