Very cool. I never really thought of the bike having multiple builder’s hands on it, but it’s a nice sentiment and makes the frame even more meaningful for me. There’s actually one other builder to add to that list, Hugh Black, of True North Cycles, since the geo was based off the last bike he made for me, 10 years ago.
I took the bike out for a quick spin around the block today and a few thoughts:
1. Paul nailed the geo - it feels like an old friend
2. Richard was bang on when he said the UOS tubes would be stiff. I’m 160lbs and this is a STIFF frame.
3. I’ll probably try some fatter tires and my preferred saddle - Pro Turnix Team - for a proper ride tomorrow
