That's what grinds my gears. In 2024, $5500 is normal for a frame made with cheap labor. When Carl Strong can sell a US made frame by paying fair wages to his workers (and I'm supposing health care), and sell the frame for $5400, a $5500 Enve (yah yah i know, it is a "module" with the same jacked up prices for their bars and seatpost) is an outrage along with a $5500 Aethos frame.
Enve should make them in the US and compete with the other makers. And in doing so, stand out from its competition.

In 2024, $5,500 is not really outrageous for a frame, but I bet they could really rally more people around their brand if they differentiated themselves as a real US manufacturer. Otherwise to me, it's just another expensive carbon frame made by cheap labor in a cheap factory offshore.
