A guy died crashing on one of these on a bike path in my city (Melbourne, Australia) a few weeks ago. Too much speed going around a bend. Cyclists two abreast coming the other direction who he tried to avoid, at least that is what was reported. A guy from my office saw paramedics doing CPR on him shortly after it happened.
The E-Unicyle seems inherently dangerous to me, just looking at them, but maybe I am wrong.
For those who have ridden one, how stable do they feel?
