Sorry to hear about this, Shino, adding my best wishes for your diagnosis & recovery to the others.
I second the recommendation above to stick with POC since you know they fit your noggin. I seem to recall that POC will give you a discounted replacement if you send back your helmet, or maybe just photos showing that you've cut the straps. Maybe that offer has since lapsed.
