Those stats are interesting and they show something that never gets discussed and it's why I'm driving the same car after 11 years and it's so hard for me to justify replacing it.

I'm paying like 1/2 what Saab2000 does in a month to drive my gasoline car.. just cause I apparently drive about 1/3 as much.

It's not really an accident, everyone has their own circumstances. But we bought our house in the town we live in with this in mind, and then both my wife and I searched for jobs nearby. We both have < 10 mile round trip commutes.

And it's a good thing cause driving the car here will make you lose your mind.
