* what's in your stable? Soma Fog Cutter, Mares Focus AL, Trek Roscoe 6 hardtail, Volae Team recumbent, Nimbus mountain unicycle.
* fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? 50+mph, a few times. If a tandem counts as a road bike then SR135 descending from Bear Wallow Rd southern Indiana in the 80's on the Hilly Hundred. More recently on various ramps on the slopes of Mt Hood. A couple years ago in WA state on the Cascades 1200, somewhere east of the Cascades. I tell myself 40mph is plenty, but fail to heed that advice.
