For those wondering about the opposite question, when I got my Chorus 12 the cranks was backordered, so i tried my Sugino OX something that is, i think, 10-11 speed compatible. It works perfectly fine and I have not once dropped the chain or had a problem. I prefer the 30-46 rings I have so I'm not gonna get the Chorus 12 subcompact crank.
