Unrealized/undiscovered/unknown to me until just now, this Canyon frame has a 1.25" (1 1/4") steerer tube at the top (1.50" at bottom). I'm told GIANT is the only other maker who specs this size steerer on their bikes. Spacers/Stems/Bearing Caps/Expander plugs are rather limited in this size, I'm also finding out, so I'll have to wait until I get these items ordered/delivered/installed before I can go any further with this project. It does, however, look like full length derailleur cable housing will pass through all holes/openings OK, with a little finessing...but the build will have to wait.
