how old is the watch and what kind is it? RSC will not service watches over a certain age, so you must go to non OEM service if it's an antique.
i'm in the camp of dont touch it if it's running well. the only think i have done regularly to my expensive autos, including rolex is a pressure test every couple years, since my watches often go underwater. i own a lot of auto dive watches...
