http://www.sportable.org, and they have a hand cycling program that just finished up for the summer. I was constantly amazed each week, as my wimpy arms couldn't do what they do... heck sometimes my legs had a hard time keeping up. It was a fun way to help out and the people who come generally aren't competitive athletes, but most just wanting to try things and stay active. Many of the athletes use borrowed handcycles from Sportable, or the VA (who brings a truckload every week), but a couple have received grants through the Kelly Brush foundation mentioned below.
