One shining light for Pats was their D. It matched Denver's D drive for drive. Pats O didn't measure up.

I don't think Manning outplayed Brady. Denver's defense outplayed the Pat's offense and they put Brady on his ass a lot, but he did as much as he possibly could have done under that circumstance. Peyton got more done, but he had a lot better overall match-up. Denver's defense was just too damn good.
