i feel pretty much normal on the bike now. definitely a leg strength discrepancy, but no real noticeable discomfort from the weaker side anymore.
in terms of my condition deficit, it's real and big -- giving up +2 months of training and sitting on the sofa during apr/may/jun when everyone lays down the meat of their condition makes for a big delta.
at this point in the year, normally i can hang onto the back of the A group for a good bit if i ride smart and turn myself inside-out. now, with that same level of effort, i can hang onto the back of the B group for maybe a half an hour before coming off!
