A word from the mods now . . .
We all need to keep in mind that reprinting an entire article from a newspaper or elsewhere is a possible copyright violation and could get us as a forum into trouble.
Posting a few graphs--with a link to the full article on the original web site--is the preferred and legal way to take advantage of "fair use" laws. Those laws provide that publishing excerpts from copyrighted materials is permissible, but taking the original material verbatim and using it is a no-no. Publications like NYT do not take kindly to people, uh, "borrowing" their stuff.
Perhaps Tony could help us out and edit his post?
