Might have a custom slot from a friend coming down the chute in the next couple months. I asked and the seller says they won't ship the brakes... anyone around LA willing to facilitate pending confirmation from my friend that he'd be comfortable building around the racers?

Sure, looks reasonably close to me, I could do it.

True Temper looks like a 55ish. $1,500.

Lighthouse bikes are built in Central Coast California by Tim Neenan, the original designer of the Allez, Sequoia and Expedition models for Specialized. He is a well regarded builder, A number of years ago he gave up building to become a high-end chef. Apparently really good at that, as well. IIRC, he currently lives in the Santa Ynez area.
The first bike I ever fell in love with was a metallic purple Imron Lighthouse that was leaning up against the wall in the common room of my dormitory at UCSB in 1977. It was next to a green Eisentraut, but I only had eyes for that Lighthouse. How little I knew!

Semi local bike shop in Maryland going out of business. I know nothing about them but they seem to have a pretty big inventory on some higher end equipment. Lots of Enve, HED carbon wheels...

Thanks for posting! I'd been eyeing the HED Ardennes RA black wheelset and they had a great deal on them!

Gonna keep scrolling to see what else I *don't* need....

MBS is a great site, great people too. Brian (founder) is a good guy and I'm sad to see them go.

I ordered a few things from them, but I always found their marketing really annoying. They'd always send these emails "chat with us and save" but whenever I tried it, I could never actually get to the point where they actually offered me a way to save money via chat.

Well, I learned something today. Seems like someone should jump on this frame.

These guys always seem to use the same sales techniques as Glory Cycles, in that they list items in stock that they don't actually have in their inventory, but rather hope to be able to source when you order it... That said, of the several orders I've placed over the years, about half have come to fruition at a good price.

I had $50 worth of tubes and other small bits in my cart but they were going to charge $35 to ship them to Colorado, unfortunately.
