Back up with an $800 starting bid. Geo, quick-release, and tire clearance are holding it back. I'm not even sure it's an XT-1. It only clears 30mm tires, which would be an odd violation of an essential requirement for a model advertised as a cross bike, even as a custom.

Too bad about the clearance, otherwise it'd be a good candidate for my next commuter.

Those 58 Speedvagen's have that little hamster in my head spinning! Does anyone have any experience on the Rugged Road? Is it a do-it-all fun bike, a gravel racer, a commuter, or what?

I had the same question. I think it’s a poor strategy to bid early on a BIN, it won’t sell at the opening price so waiting is the best strategy. That said, it was indicated the the BIN price was good ... so I am curious as well

I am feeling that QR on this bike makes it less desirable.

I do think QR will make it less desirable but if I can score it for somewhere around the BIN price its a steal

That alchemy is a good deal IMO.

I offered $700 on the first listing and it got autodeclined.

I'd be willing to bet this either finishes at $800 or goes up again at $700 and finishes at that.

It looks more like an RT-1d to me.
