Nice price on a C59 with a very cool colorway. Plus offer is available. I would have grabbed it already if I didn’t just buy another...

Cool looking Merckx. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen another with reversed lettering color on the downtube.

Custom Andy Gilmour travel bike using Ritchey Breakaway system, currently set up as fixed-gear:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Ritc...m/333445524760

Quote:

This road bike was custom built by frame builder Andy Gilmour in Tucson utilizing the Ritchey Breakaway lug system which allows it to be disassembled into two pieces for smaller packing. The frame separates into two pieces at the seatpost connection and a collar near the bottom bracket. This is a top notch bike that can pack into a 26 x 26 x 10 inch suitcase (meets airline 62 inch total rule for checked baggage without a surcharge). It’s a killer Criterium bike: since the frame has a high track bottom bracket, single chainring, and a narrower than normal bottom bracket spindle, it's impossible to hit a pedal when pedaling through a corner. Amazing to ride on the track or on the road. Reynolds 853 steel is strong and light (not overly stiff) with quick handling. Immaculate powder coat metallic gray paint.

53 cm top tube, 74/74 angles, 45 cm seat tube (50 effective), 55 cm BB drop means you'll never strike a pedal, in a crit corner or on the steepest track banking. Profile Design BDC carbon fiber fork, 43 mm rake. Ritchey WCS headset. Phil Wood square taper BB with old style Sugino road cranks, 171 mm long, 144 BCD (standard track size) with inner lip for inside chainring and Sugino 49T 1/8 ring with Sidi 1/8 chain. Carbon fiber seatpost and Selle Italia SLK saddle. Flip-flop rear wheel (fixed and threaded) with new 16T steel cog. Well used tires. 36cm Deda aluminum 26.0 road bars and Ritchey stem.

It’s set up as single speed/fixie, but if you’d like to switch it back to standard gearing it has standard 130mm spacing, an integrated rear derailleur, and cable attachments all there to support it. Included are some extra chainrings, a front brake, and various spare parts.

Worth it for the build alone. I would be tempted if it were my size for sure.
