Cloth/Super thin Bar Tape

Can anyone recommend a super thin bar tape, maybe even something cloth, for the TT bike?

I do not need any cushion and am looking to go super minimal.

I like the Arundel Gecko for the road bike as it strikes a good balance of durability and grip, but it's a bit expensive and more grip than I really need on the TT bike.

There's only one right answer. Twine the ends if you are a true player in the scene..on your TT bike. So sick.

Newbaum's or Velox Tressostar are two of the more common cloth tapes. Newbaum's is a little thicker than the Velox, but they're both still quite thin. The Velox also tends to just give you enough length, so you have to wrap them tightly. Newbaum's is longer and you'll usually have a little extra at the end.

I've used both without issue and pick between the two based on the colors more than anything.

i have not personally used it, but brooks has cambium cotton bar tape that may be of interest if you dont want any cushion?

i wanted something a with a little more than cloth.

went, and have been happy, with Lizard Skins 1.8 . Kind of tacky at first, but wears in pretty well.

You don't want to go all pro and just use some skateboard grip tape?

Velox

And Christophe toe clips.

I thought they only used that on the saddle.

Go to a tennis shop and get some tennis racket grip tape.

Green Grips is also a good option for cloth tape. Small producer, organic cotton, etc.

I've talked to them a few times. Nice folks

Thanks, all! These are some great suggestions.
I'll look through these and give something a whirl.

Much appreciated.

I don't think you can get more minimal than hockey tape:
