Here is the link for Competitive Cyclist they are offered this cheaply on a number of sites. GIYF.

This would be a great group to throw on your old mountain bike you’re looking to update. Not top-of-the-line but very solid and cheap.

That's insane. Odd crank length and not xdr, but still...

Steve in SLO 11-01-2022 06:26 PM

I think 175 is a pretty standard crank length, and no XDR means you get to fit it on any old set of wheels and run it on existing bike. Looking again at my link I see they also have 170 mm arms for the same price..

Be sure to look for the BOOST version if you need it

This seems like a great deal on something that I have absolutely no need for right now, or for the foreseeable future. I'm so conflicted.

Dumb question (my MTB days are long gone) would this fit a vintage 26" MTB?

Generally yes, it should work. Wheels need an 8/9/10 Shimano freehub. Chainstays need to be at least 425mm to meet Sram's minimum specs.

I know this has been posted before but Spurcycle has their frankenbells (factory seconds) for sale again. As promised by other folks who've gotten them, the standards for "surface perfeection" at Spurcycle are very high and so the blemishes on these are quite subtle indeed. I just received my order and they are basically a tiny scratch on the dinger "button" or bell itself, but nothing I'll even notice once it's installed. For the price, this is a good time to try it out!

https://www.spurcycle.com/products/f...nt=11426743557

Edit: And yes, this was my own consolation for not buying up the closing-bike-shop's supply of bells for 40% off (they were sold out by the time I decided to do so). This is about the same discount!

Lots of Sram and particular AXS parts on sale across many vendors. For the Eagle AXS kits, gotta think it is related to updated Eagle parts coming out that have been shown already. For the rest, guessing it is related to softening of the market an overstocks.
