Maybe this confuses things more, but based on the SN, Parlee says:

"That should be a Z3 from 2007 in our size ML or 55cm and the records show that is the case.
Originally sold to a dealer in LA, in late 2007."

The serial threw me off. Still a sweet frameset w the AlphaQ fork, Zipp carbon post, and nice American Classic wheels. Sure the 10spd Di2 stuff is only worth a few hundred, but the cranks are 9000 series and look to be in good shape. It’s a lot of bike for $1500, atmo.

sure looks like a lugged frame which, I think, were Z3s and prior and made in the US.. but I could be off on that. If that's the case, I'd say this is a really decent price for that bike.. and it's "make an offer", so could be a better deal!

That's a great frameset, great deal. I have one in a 54 and would love to swap with this seller if I could.

Interesting to see how much this is going to sell for? Corima Puma, any guesses? Rare bike market indicator?

...if you're ok with only riding 23s. That's all the Z1,2, 3, 4 & 5 were designed for.

You might get a 25 in there, but even that was close on my Z1 (the fork is Enve so that'll take 28s).

Wow! Lugged Steelman frames are rare and moreso with chromed lugs.
The workmanship on this must be amazing.

Very cool. That would look damn slick with a chrome fork. Shame that he left a NOS frame in a shed all these years.

Tempted to salvage that one since it is my size and I might have a chrome fork that would be a good fit.
But besides too many projects already, "I took the liberty of lightly sanding and polishing the head tube lugs" ruined it for me.
