That alliance sounds just about like my new Rock Lobster - and stunning. Dream wheels, dream crankset…

Speedvagen OG1 53cm

Definitely not a "good deal" at the BIN price, but bidding still low and apparently no reserve

https://www.ebay.com/itm/354217032680

Description says "fully custom" but no geometry given … strangely short stem

58cm Tommasini Tecno - $700
58cm TOMMASINI Tecno in Electric Blue. Quality is unsurpassed and constitutes a "lifetime" frameset. Italian quality lugged Columbus Nemo Nivacrom steel. I've ridden and owned a COLNAGO Gilco Master and the ride quality of this Tecno surpasses it in every way. I brought this frameset back from New Zealand and had it previously built up w/Campagnolo 10 speed Chorus.. For further information of questions, contact Jim

Rivendell Redwood

I didn’t snap a photo, but a small local shop has a mint looking Riv Redwood in about a 61cm size that is being built up right now. I saw goofy Shimano prebuilts, paselas, and a Sugino crankset, plus a Nitto stem and bar (I think).

He bought it from a widow whose husband owned it and looked like it was never ridden or even built. It was green and gorgeous in a Riv kind of way. Owner was asking about $1200CAD (about $900US + a ton of shipping) complete, and he knew what he had, so I doubt he would negotiate.

Let me Know if you’d like more information!

But it's painted!!

Yeah, that seller must be trying to recoup every penny they spent plus inflation....

citycyclist247 08-12-2022 11:59 AM

I can’t blame them for wanting to recoup. eBay seller fees are a headache as well.

Odd the two 52cm Joe Bell painted Moots seem out of line, or is Joe Bell paint work that expensive these days? The rest of his eBay items pricing seems reasonably fair.
