Looks like a very clean C40

seller is asking 1800

Custom built in 2004ish, this C-40 is absolutely immaculate, with less than 100 miles on it! Full Campy Record build, including rare carbon Record cranks. Colnago seatpost and headset, ITM/Colnago co-branded cockpit, Zipp hubs laced to Stans tubeless rims. Yes this bike is classic, and yes this bike is fast and comfortable. No, this bike was not made by a machine in China, and yes this bike has a soul. This C-40 is probably one of the best one could ever find, and could pass as NOS. Please take the time to check out the pics and message me if you have any questions. 55cm from center to center of toptube, 58cm to top of seatcollar. Thanks for looking!

DA 27.2 aero seatpost.

$150 CAD. I don't actually know if that's a good price.

Colnago C40 lugged carbon with steel fork - $1,100

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik...516326363.html

Vintage Colnago C40 lugged carbon fiber frame with steel fork - 54 cm. Bought off eBay from Italy some years ago, and it's mostly been sitting in storage. The paint scheme is rad, and gets many compliments. There is cosmetic damage, rub marks and scratches (no dents), and the person before me did a bad job of touching up the paint on the fork (see pictures). Still looks pretty great overall though.

Components are Campagnolo Record, and likely the originals. Wheels are Mavic Ksyrium rims with bladed spokes.

Seat has some tears, tires need replacing, bar tape got torn during a move and could also use replacing. Pedals not included. Overall, could use a tune up and would look and feel incredible with a little extra love.

Need to get this out of storage. I don't ride road bikes anymore so I would love to see this beautiful bike get more use. Email with questions. Asking $1100 or best offer.

Colnago Extreme Power, 56 - $1,500

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik...504937438.html

Colnago EP, Ultegra 10 speed groupset with Stages powermeter on non-drive side crank. Bontrager wheels (10 spd on now, but can be run 11 spd, and new tires. 3T bars and seat post. Frame and components are in good, used condition. Paint chips on the chain stay and few little nicks in the paint from several years of riding. Just put on new cables and bar tape for this listing. This is an amazing frame, priced to sell and price is firm, ready to ride.

With a new seatpost and wheelset that thing would be perfection... I definitely don't need to inquire about tire clearance....

Did I miss the part where it said what the top tube length was?

Yikes.

If somebody would’ve told me you’d be able to buy a mint condition Ottrott, built with Chorus, Mavic brakes and Eurus wheels for that price 10 yrs ago… I would’ve said they were nuts.

Those Colnago C40s listed above, also great bargains. Wonderful time to be in the market for a rim brake bike.

That is if you can live with the obvious safety risks of not having disc brakes.

;)

These are both great examples of a classic, iconic bike from one of the most famous builders in the sport. Interestingly, they represent the first and last versions of the C40. Very cool! I'd like to have both of them for that reason.

Handmade Ed Litton Road Bike (57cm ST, 54cm TT) - $400
Handmade, lightweight Ed Litton steel road bike in excellent condition -- looks like it was barely ridden. I'm the third owner. Paint is immaculate except for a few minor chips.

Note the custom geometry: 57cm seat tube, 54cm top tube, both measured center-to-centered. This was a catch-and-release -- couldn't get the fit to work out otherwise I'd be keeping it. The dimensions would work well for someone 5'8”-6” who normally takes a 54cm bike but wants reduced saddle-bar drop / has long legs and short torso.
$400 OBO for frame, fork, and Shimano Ultegra headset only. More photos forthcoming once I dismantle the bike.
Other details:
-130mm rear spacing
-Recessed brake holes
-Italian bottom bracket shell (if needed, for extra I can include two Shimano UN72 (Ultegra) 70 x 115mm Italian square taper bottom brackets along with two bottom bracket spacers (1mm and .5mm), which should allow you to use most square taper double cranksets while maintaining narrow q-factor.)
-700 x 28mm tire clearance (build photos show clearances with 28mm Continental GP5000s mounted on 18mm internal width rims)
