Battaglin - $1,200
Lugless, fillet brazed construction, made in Italy from Columbus SL. Frame measures 23" c-t seat tube, and 22" c-c top tube. The fork is Columbus EL.
Wheels are Mavic Open 4 rims on Dura Ace hubs. Dura Ace components, 8 speed srifters, dual pivot side pull brakes, and was completely disassembled and rebuilt when I bought it about 5 years ago. Not much wear on the drive train since then. It's pretty quick for steel.

This is the original paint, in good shape. I'm not selling the bags or the frame pump you see in some of the photos. This is a good example of the artistry of Waterford bicycle production in the mid 80's.

Really pretty frame with nicks and scratches here and there as you would expect for its age. This was a custom built frame built by Tommasini in the 80's or early 90's (130mm wheel hub spacing - currently running 9 speed on Ultegra hub) for the team associated with Dominics, the bike shop out of Arizona. I found this relevant information online regarding the relationship of Dominics to Tommasini:

"Domenic’s Team Issue: Domenico Malvestuto was an ex-euro racer with connections, several times a year he would travel to Italy and work out deals with major manufactures of bicycle frames & components. The Team Issues is a product of his passion. Manufactured and painted by Tommasini Bicycles shipped without decals, Domenic’s decals applied upon arrival in the US."

It has been built up as a really nice, functional commuter. New tires, tubes, and Cinelli cork bar tape. 55cm, center to center, top tube and seat tube.
