Is it time for a separate "gravel" section?
There seems to be a lot of gravel discusses and I'm wondering if it's time to have a gravel section as opposed to the usual general discussion section?

The prevailing interests of the forum migrate over time. Presenting a general discussion category facilitates meaningful discussion threads and collections of threads as people find it meaningful to participate, and then move onto the next topic.
I suppose that all the gravel talk is a bit tiresome to those whose interests are elsewhere. No worries, this gravel thing will fizzle soon, and the next big obsession will be...??? |

I think disc brakes need their own section.

Is it winter? Why are folks interested in micromanaging the organization of the forum? It’s been brought up twice in the last 24 hrs. I thought the popularity of Zwift would help this malady. ;)

...and seperate Campy and Shimano sections. Tubular and clincher sections, level and sloping top tube sections. Etc... Plus if we had a sepearte Gravel section we would constantly have to moderate all the dirty discussions going on.
I'm kidding. We like how the current long-time set up functions and spurs discussion. Splitting up the membership into different areas, in our opinion, ultimately leads to less discussion and participation. W. |

No way. Every gravel race I've been in has more pacelines than a typical road ride.

Nope
Absolutely not. It's a BIKE forum. Talk about bikes, regardless of discipline. This place is great just the way it is.
