Why do so many threads here devolve into bickering?

And not even talking about the political ones. Can’t we just make an effort to get along.

dgauthier 10-17-2020 12:32 AM

The threads here do *not* devolve into bickering, and I can't believe you would even say that.

robt57 10-17-2020 12:36 AM

Because:

*Ah. I'd like to have an argument, please.

-Certainly sir. Have you been here before?

*Man: No, this is my first time.

-I see. Well, do you want to have the full argument, or were you thinking of taking a course?

If you tell kids they can't color outside the lines, their hands get shaky.

The no politics or whatever policy makes people edgy. Also, internet.

Git is a very proper and often used British descriptor, noun: a foolish or worthless person.

Maybe I’m being grumpy myself. I just read a thread on squats that ended with two members arguing about whether or not push-ups or pull-ups are better.
