Peter Sagan kicks back
Peter Sagan was in California for a charity ride. Afterward he dropped by Fairfax to check out the Marin Museum of Bicycling and the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.
Curator Joe Breeze and Otis Guy took Peter out to the private singletrack at Tamarancho. Joe rode my bike, Breezer #2, which normally hangs on the wall of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Otis rode his 1941 Schwinn single speed. Joe and Otis and I all signed a copy of my book for Pater. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4550/...41b0451e_c.jpggetPart by Charles Kelly, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4547/...9d7f4111_c.jpgSagan by Charles Kelly, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4565/...7ea1a1c1_c.jpgSagan FTF by Charles Kelly, on Flickr |
Fantastic, very nice!

Uber cool. Regardless if ones a fan of either, just cool to see (and read) the mutual respect both parties have for one another. Thanks for sharing.

Good thing he didn't force you off the trail and then claim innocence after.

Edit to clarify that the reference here is to post #11 only...well, now to post #14 as well. It's one thing for to do that usual stuff in some random racing thread; another thing entirely to muck up Repack Rider's completely well-intentioned and very specific thread. Really bad form, unfortunately. . . |

C'mon, put on some Big Boy pants.
The bikes are cool. The trail is cool. The book is super cool. The museum is extremely cool. Since I've been through the rhetorical turnstyle, that means they've had two dweebs through the place, me and Sagan. I'm sorry I don't like that racer you all like, but the coolest thing in that photo by a country mile is Breezer #2. |
Thanks for sharing that!
You had me at "private singletrack" |
