Custom Component Painting
Does anyone know where you can get custom painting done for components or touchpoints? Specifically, painting stems, bars, posts, etc. Similar to the Above Category stuff below. Any idea what the cost for that kind of work might be?

whoever paints frames can paint parts. best to have it all done at once to ensure a perfect color match.

I had a stem powedercoated once, I believe it was around $50 for a single color with liquid clear coat. I have had fenders done and a frame pump for a different bike but can't remember how much that came to. It was not insignificant to be sure. All of it was done by Spectrum Powderworks in Colorado Springs. Despite the name they do a lot of liquid paint, but their powedercoat work has been my favorite. They are probably responsible for a large % of the painted bikes at NAHBS every year.

And their price categories:
Where the prices reflect: Powdercoat/Baked Urethane/Signature Finish More pricing details here. Spectrum is also an excellent choice. |
Depends a lot of the preparation needed, thats the thing painting parts.
You can powder coat at home tho. |
