Where would you like to go next?
Just got back from Singapore after three weeks of visiting families and spending Chinese New Year with them. I had my S&S coupled bike with me so was able to ride every day sometimes even twice a day which was really awesome.
I rolled the case into the garage and let it sat there for the night. http://alicehui.com/bike/Singapore/IMG_3063.jpg I realized, technically speaking, I could just leave it as is without unpacking and it's got everything i need for my next trip inside; helmet, shoes, 3 sets of cycling kit, tools, even three different sets of tires for the different terrain: Vittoria CG Pave 25mm (road), Challenge Strada Bianca 30mm (mixed/touring), Gravel King 35mm (gravel). If you can go anywhere, where would you like to go next? I was thinking...maybe Sacramento (NAHBS) in March, Italy (Simple) in May.. |
I’m headed to a dirt road ascent to Sequoia National Park and a descent into Kings Canyon National Park in May once all the snow melts.

Funny, I did the same with mine after Christmas. It's still packed and ready to go, but I did pull the tools and kit out.
I'd really like to go to Columbia with it. Warm weather in the mountains! And rain... |
Next trip will be to Portugal so see my fam. You bet the S&S bike is coming. i will have a bike there for the first time ever, its going to be awesome.

Anywhere... I've been stuck inside because rain

If I could go anywhere, I'd check heaven out. I've heard the lobster is swell there. If those plans fell short, it would be Iceland, and I'd ride the 200K gravel race in July.

I'm going to Tuscany in June.

Anywhere warm and not covered in ice and snow will do just fine for me. I'd like to spend a week in Arizona riding in the sunshine.

Having two homes on opposite latitudes would be nice.

Memphis. Not to ride but to listen to music, dance and have a few cocktails.

Several places with a couple different machines:
Take my favorite steel bike and ride around in Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. Then take a gravel machine and weave my wave through the Andes, preferably above 15k feet. Some epic mountains down there. |
