That was only in reference to a particular paint scheme where the R was nearly the same color as the frame, making it appear to say something different than "Ira Ryan." It was not a general comment on all Ira Ryan bikes, and clearly isn't an issue on this one.

Good catch. It is....eclectic..

Still, black w goldenrod is a favorite color combo for me.

I call respray and modified at the time.

Never seen a Davidson with the sig decal on the seat tube, plus there’s a cable hole on the bottombracket web for an FD.

I’d cut a Shimano BB cable guide in half and ShooGoo it to the appropriate location, then use a clamp on FD.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it actually takes a 27.2 seatpost, either.

There is also one shifter boss, so you need a plan there as well...

Don't think you are correct on the re-paint call, here is your second, looks original to me.

I purchased it fully built up as a single speed with Phil Wood disc hubs that were worth almost what I paid. The paint was in bad shape however the frame was straight. That jalopy of a frame has seen better days. Sup Miguel!

I wish you would have sold that to me. I’m literally building up a similar bike.
