Your builds are always so meticulous. This one will be fun to watch! And see in person some day...

Thank you! It should be fun to build. We will definitely connect and get out to rode sooner than later.

Ebay: These are mine accept the ones I have no gloss finish with saves even more weight. Mine are 16g each and Ti bolts are 3g for all 4. I have them for 2 years now and haven't lost a bottle yet.

Have you used the extralite rings on other builds? I stopped using them.

Why is that? I've contact several people who have used them for years and they have had nothing but great things to say. I'm interested to hear your feedback as it was a slight concern of mine on how they would perform.

I have no firsthand experience but I’d be concerned about rigidity and shift quality. Modern Shimano and Campagnolo rings are much more substantial for reasons of stiffness.

Nice build project! But I might look into Specialized’s own rings. They’re likely stiffer and this will play out in shift quality.

Yeah we will see. I have a buddy who has used them for the last 3 years. Has them on 2 of his bikes, no issues at all. Also spoke with a bakers dozen of others on social media or forums that use them, also no complaints. I will have to see how they perform. Fingers crossed.
