My black CDA (sold a few yrs ago to Ari) was a state of the art frame. That’s a steal. If you ride a 58-60 cm frame, that Rivendell mentioned above is also amazing and a great price. |

Great ride, for sure. I have that and Thwart's old HC. Both are wonderful bikes. |

The Serotta is a smoking deal considering the parts on it are worth that much - free frame. Seems to be a trend of rim brake road bikes being cheap.

It is a Stock geometry bike (not custom): 54 cm c-t-c top tube and 54 cm c-t-c seat tube. It should fit anyone between 5'6" and 5'11". I am 5'11" and rode it comfortably for years. $1200 as is or, $800 for frame, fork and headset. Cash Only ........or trade for a nice full-suspension 29er or 27.5 mountain bike |

Custom Rebuilt Radiant Red 1984 Miyata Road/Path Racer - $340
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik...061850595.html Dashing vintage steel-lugged 12 speed 56cm Miyata road bike turned commuter/club racer in great condition that we just overhauled with many new parts and rides like new. Handbrazed in Japan with cro-moly steel tubing. Bottom bracket, headset and hub bearings cleaned and repacked with fresh grease, new chain, new cables and housing, new pads, new bar tape, newer tires, updated pedals. We replaced the original drop handlebars with shallower drop bars with touring levers so you ride a little more upright for seeing traffic but still somewhat aero, they are super fun and easy going to ride. Also installed really nice hammered alloy Velo Orange fenders to complete the look and keep you dry! Everything is tight, adjusted, tuned and running great. The rims are true, brakes are tight and strong, drivetrain is smooth, and it friction shifts through all gears with easy to reach stem shifters. Ready to ride and shouldn’t need a thing for a long time. This bike has sport touring geometry which is a nice blend, it is supple, comfortable and pleasant to ride but isn’t a slouch and can pick up some speed. Great all rounder bike good for commuting, grocery getting, and tires are wide enough to take on dirt/gravel. Best for a rider 5’9” or 5’10” but could fit 5’8” with a longer inseam or 5’11” or 6’0” with a shorter inseam. Women usually have long legs with a short torso and men the opposite but not always. Radiant metallic red paint is in incredible condition, very shiny with only a smattering of scratches. No dents or signs of stress. We have polished the whole frame and all the components, it is very clean. $440 with the vintage leather Brooks B5N saddle shown in photos $340 with a nice saddle, we have a few options . |
Landshark frameset 52cm 53cm handmade fillet brazed steel road / crit - $120
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik...061917428.html
Picked this frame up last year locally on the cheap, as the derailleur hanger was bent up pretty badly. I was able to fix it without using any heat (dropout alignment tool and hanger alignment tool only). It's a custom made Landshark frame with some very specific geometry, that was repainted by the original owner at some point, from whom I made the purchase (Ric Rodriguez as seen on the top tube). The paint isn't particularly durable and the matte finish causes the white to get super dirty, but who cares about paint. Believe the tubing is a Dedacciai mix, very light and responsive, and the fork is a Reynolds Ouzo Pro. Anyway, here are my basic measurements for the geometry, it was built for a person with long legs and a short torso for use in criterium races: Top tube (ctc): 52.5cm Seat tube (ctc): 56cm 27.2mm seatpost 1-1/8" headset English BB Can take additional measurements if desired. Headset and compression plug top cap included . |
