A little bit too late as I sold the bike a couple of weeks ago but here was my Yamaguchi I had built back in 2011...

You sold THAT?! :eek::eek::eek:
Please don't tell me it got replaced by something made out of plastic. :no:
Cause that would be a cryin shame.

Nice color scheme and way to go with the consistency of enve parts throughout, looks sweet. Seriously, what replaced that? Hopefully not bills...

Now that is a beautiful ride! Nice!

cmg 01-31-2013 10:54 AM

that is so sweet..........but i gotta ask. Why did you sell it? How did it ride?

boconnor811 01-31-2013 12:51 PM

Always intriguing to see a color scheme that I wouldn't dare to pick built up, and immediately have a change of opinion. Looks great!

Yamaguchi's are vastly under-rated. Great bike.

underrated by whom?! haha, anyone who knows anything about frame building knows that koichi has taught either directly or indirectly a HUGE amount of the "young guns" out there just about everything they know.

as far as I'm concerned, yamaguchi is easily right up there with all the other "greats" of american frame building.

i would LOVE to know what it replacing this frame, because if I owned that sucker you would likely have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

Thanks for the comments. For a lack of better words, it was a very nice and smooth ride. It's hard to explain you just have to ride it. It was definitely hard to let it go but I must make room (well, more like fund) for the new bike...a Firefly! :banana: Hopefully it will be here before the end of February.

Here's a few more pictures with the original steel fork, pre slam :rolleyes:

It's hard to capture but the paint sparkles!
