Not that I knew him personally, but it seems Dario lived more during his years than many will who get given an extra few decades...

Hats off to a man who touched many lives through his passion and craft.

Very sad. Loss of an icon.

I know this is part of life, but I would dare say Dario’s impact on it and now the subsequent loss of his vision is just unfair. There is a void now in our world that will remain for...well possibly forever.

I am not a religious man, but Godspeed Dario, the heavens will be more beautiful now that they have your inspiration and talent.

Very sad to hear this, I'm glad he has left such a legacy and lasting impact though.

Dario brought a depth of class, culture and style to cycling that it never had before. No one and nothing follows his lead.
He loved art. He brought to cycling such an intense amount of visual arts influence like it is not even possible. Dario is inimitable.
Also a true gentleman.
