Suggestions: broken FD limit screw

1 Attachment(s)
I bought this FD on CL and the lower limit screw head is snapped off. Im hoping that the limit is correct for my frame. Any suggestions how to get it out in case I’ll have to adjust it?

Not specifically that derailleur, but I've used a locking hemostat to finesse broken limit screws out before. A needlenose might work too but the hemostat has enough play between the jaws and handles that you can lock it on the screw and turn it enough to get it out, sometimes from above, sometimes from below - if it's not enclosed.

I'd try an extractor.

Use a center punch to create a point for a drill bit. Get a 5/64" carbide drill bit to drill into the screw. Use the extractor to remove the screw.

Maybe a strong adhesive (J-B Weld?) to attach a small bolt to the stub so you can grasp the bolt and undo the broken screw? OTOH I wonder if the screw somehow got stuck so bad that the previous owner broke the head off trying to get it out or if he applied so much force tightening it and maybe damaged the derailer.

Take the derailleur cage/linkage off, then you can likely better access what is left of the limit screw and just turn it out with needle nose pliers.

Winner! It is the 3mm allen bolt just below the cable pinch bolt. Remove it and you can slide the whole body off to get at that screw.

thank you all for the suggestions. I'm still hoping that the limit will "just work" but I won't find out for a few weeks as the bike I am planning to put this on is in storage in another town.
