Bearings and Washer for 90s Campy Record Threaded Headset?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if its possible to buy new (replacement) bearings and a washer for an early/mid 1990s Campy Record headset? If so, where would I find them? Are they Campy - specific? I searched the interwebs but the only parts I found were for '97 and up and threadless.

I've attached 4 pics of my incomplete Record headset, and 1 pic of a similar, complete Record headset with the bearings and washer I'm looking for.

I'd hate to just toss a nice part. Thanks in advance for any help...

You can find them on ebay.

Loose ball bearings in a standard size that I don't recall are easy to come by (someone here will know.) A standard 1 inch headset washer/spacer can be a suitable substitute (doesn't really have to be the keyed washer.)

+1 on loose ball. Im sure size can be found with an online search but I can dig some out and measure tomorrow if you need. You will probably need one more , maybe 2, than the total in the caged set.

Thanks that would be great! I think it's either 5/32 or 3/16?

Just pop the old bearing out and get new ones..grade 25..5/32 for that headset. Can also use loose bearing balls..grease into cup..lay bearings in there until they touch, remove 1.

Headset spacer..just get a 1 inch headset spacer. It may not lay keen in the top cap 'ledge', but it'll work.

Just a suggestion for anybody regarding sizes, etc..Sutherlands 5th edition(later ones not as complete) and a Park Ruler that has ball bearing sized holes on it to measure bearing balls. Can measure spoke lengths too..

Campy still makes the threaded 1" headsets. I had to replace the headset on my 23 year old Serotta when I upgraded it this past spring. Campy Record 1" threaded headset was $50. I think the still make them for the track.

I clicked on this thread specifically to see what oldpotatoe would say.
