At the base of the Vrsic Pass - Slovenia

This picture is of my wife clipping in at the base of the Vrsic Pass in Slovenia. We rode it up the from the north on the Kranska Gora side and then descended to the south, down toward Bovec, through the river valley. One of the most beautiful descents ever. The climb was tough, about 5,300 feet with an average grade of 7% or so.

I just pulled out my camera and snapped this picture because I thought it looked cool with the fog coming up over the trees.

I don't have photos but I do have video from Fat Tuesday...not that Fat Tuesday. This is a ride done every Tuesday evening along the Minnesota River Bottoms. There were about 25 of us last night. The trails could use a little more snow but the fat tires don't seem to mind.

Video of our ride

Slovenia and Croatia....both so underrated. Croatian coast is one my favorite places in the world.

Fossilized canid and llama footprints in Anza-Borrego State Park.

These are on the bottom of an exposed slab, not indentations but bas-relief. You don't see something like that on an ordinary ride.

After a week of being sick, I was finally able to get out and stretch my legs a bit Thursday morning.

Partly cloudy, mid 50's, single-digit wind in central Texas. Perfect day for a spin on the single speed.

It was a bit overcast today but at least it wasn't raining! Did a short 42 and saw this sitting in a driveway as I took a short cut through a neighborhood.

Lance is living in a trailer in someone's driveway?

Poor guy.

Western Colorado / Eastern Utah on a perfect 42 degree and sunny day. Nobody around for many, many miles!
