Couldn't resist this from Vintage Velos.

Where can I get a screaming deal on that Assos jacket?

Matt, I have praised your DK many times and always thought that the stem looked "out of place" in your bike. Glad you are thinking of changing it.

Yeah, unfortunately, the Moots stems are on the pricey side... $350 seems to be a bargain for them. Maybe for my birthday in February. Deda had an Alu stem for a while that had a Ti finish, but they don't make it anymore.

You can imagine if I'm buying $12 cages, that I'm not thrilled with spending that much on a stem! But I agree it has to be done to properly complete the build.

Limar Ultralite Plus helmet with mesh in the front vents. I was stung twice on the head this summer from wasps flying into the vents on my Giro Atmos. The mesh in the Limar should keep the little bastards from stinging me in the head again.

Matt; Shimano PRO PLT gun metal stem. They go fairly cheap and if you remove the ugly logos you end up with a nice looking " ti" stem.

I'm pretty sure they were are out of business for several years...but it looks like they're back. Sort of. http://www.fir-ruote.it/eng/
