Wanta frameset
 

Anyone here get the Wanta frame that was just on ebay?
It sold with an offer before I could place a bid. Someone should be very happy.

Wow. That was a steal. But I think Allan will build you one for a super reasonable price, starting at something like $900.

Allan is local to me and repainted 2 of my frames. He's a very nice guy and does a lot of Colnago repaints. His personal bike is drop dead gorgeous. Level top tube, lugged frame that has very nice proportions and a stunning paint job.

I'm aware of his prices. Maybe at some point...

That particular frame had a cool tubeset and great paint! I should have placed a bid, rather than waiting to pounce @ the end.

Reach out to the seller through eBay's message system. You never know what's really going on in the background.

Already reached out to him, as I wasn't sure that it had sold. He replied, which was much appreciated.

I need another frame about as much or less than most here. That one just really caught my fancy and looked like I might get it for a good price.

Whomever bought it must be thrilled. Just wondered if that someone might be Paceliner.
