^ I could potentially help facilitate that LeMond Poprad, but between driving an hour each way and shipping, it wouldn't be any savings over the $100 the seller is asking for shipping through eBay.

If it were a 59, I'd be headed down there for my own sake.

I’m curious, would you expect the refinish to be with something other than “”automotive” paint, I guess you could use Imron, originally developed as aircraft paint but commonly used for cars years back. Not sure if anyone developed a “bicycle” specific paint. Hoping to learn something.

Best

Price is likely a little optimistic, but this is a nice CSI if it fits you.

I think my hesitation is less about the paint used than that the owner did it himself. I expected a reputable pro had done the refinish.

That guy, whoever he is, has good taste in steel. And they like some purple!

Monsieur Toast 08-06-2019 07:06 PM

That Serotta looks like they goofed the logo application on the down tube after the repaint, though hard to be 100% sure without a good straight-on shot.

I've also got feeling about DS frames being sold for more than they cost brand new, but I guess that's just the nature of the world ...

So the guy is basically advertising this as NOS and there are not gonna be anymore Della Santa’s, may warrant a premium. In reality, 2350 is pretty good
for a new frame, that is if it is actually as described. If it were my size I’d be interested.... but that’s just me
