dead saddle/numb toes?
 

Hey,

When a saddle dies is it possible to get numb toes?

In other words, my saddle is 8-9 years old and has something like 12k on it.
My toes have started to go numb. Thinking that maybe the dying saddle is doin' something to a vein or artery now.



I know the solution. I have a new saddle waiting for me in Chicago when I get back.

I'm just curious.

Just Watch Out For Yer Toes!

As I have improved my cycling position, my toes numbness has greatly diminished.

Padded saddles die. Leather (with a modicum of maintenance) doesn't.

Oh jesus,

I hope my position isn't devolving.

I'm afraid of Brooks saddles. I think that if I buy one I'll either get bad teeth or I'll have to name my bike TARDIS.
