Show me your mixed materials bikes!

We have a thread for titanium and carbon bikes, so why not a thread of mixed material bikes as well? I have only test ridden a Nove and enjoyed the feel of it. Ever since then I have wanted to try out a ti/carbon mixed frameset.
I found one that was very unique and looked to be a good fit. I'd like to see what the rest of the folks here have in the mixed materials realm! Post em up!Attachment 1697958745 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk |
I was wondering what you ended up with! Looks cool.
Both are seamless transitions. First is Ti/carbon. Thread is here. https://i.imgur.com/Dc5gKgMl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/164R60Hl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/htOUR6Jl.jpg Second is aluminum and carbon. Cannondale SystemSix Barloworld Team Rep frameset. It's been stripped (Campy was donated to the Holland) and is just a parts hanger currently, but trying to sort out how to rebuild it.. It's been 9s Record, 10s Record, 11s Chorus - Gotta figure out what I wanna hang on it next to actually ride it.. https://i.imgur.com/vX50v37l.jpg |

Matt, your bikes are top notch and your photography is MORE than respectable. Keep on keeping it real, my brother!

Used to hate the thought and look of mixed material bikes...and now I have two of ‘em and love them both!

I made some changes this week to my Ottrott. Finally admitted I’m too old for the 53/39 crankset so I put a 50/34 in its place. Also swapped out the pictured wheels for a new set of Fulcrum Racing Zeros. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
All good stuff! Keep `em coming!

I don't have one yet, but someday when I have time for such projects I'm jonesing to do something like this wood "tubed" conversion from Myrrhcycles:

Just adding a carbon fork does not a mixed material frame make. Tim |

This would go just as well in the Y2K era thread. I swapped the original 7700 from this onto my friend's carbon DeRosa, then rebuilt it for him with Tiagra. Later built him a touring bike and he gave me the Prince in trade. Need to find some DA bits for it and some more appropriate wheels.

This has been on here before, I'm sure, but here's my Ottrott in Tuscany:
